SHOP SCENTSY

Hi y’all and welcome back to Alex in Asheville! It’s been a while since you’ve been a while since you’ve seen me on the blog, but I haven’t gone anywhere!

Without further ado, let me introduce to you my favorite thing ever – Scentsy! Are you looking at a loss as to what to get those hard to shop for people in your life? Look no further! I have you covered! Scentsy is your answer!

WHAT IS SCENTSY?

Scentsy is a direct selling company and international leader in home and personal fragrance, offering stylish, innovative and customizable products designed to Warm the Heart, Enliven the Senses and Inspire the Soul. Scentsy products are sold by a network of Scentsy Consultants in 11 countries.

WHAT DOES SCENTSY SELL?

The Scentsy Diffuser instantly fills the air with world-class fragrant all-natural and essential Scentsy Oils, while Scentsy’s flagship product line of scented, wax Scentsy Bars heated in handcrafted warmers provides a safe, personal alternative to traditional candles. Additional product lines include on-the-go fragrances, laundry care, inventive cleaning solutions and luxurious personal care products for women, men and kids — all featuring exclusive Scentsy fragrance.

WHAT ARE WICKLESS CANDLES?

A wickless candle is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And because there is no flame, there is no smoke or soot. Scentsy wickless candles — Scentsy Bars — are a safer alternative to traditional candles.

HOW CAN I BUY SCENTSY PRODUCTS?

To place an order or host a party, contact your Scentsy Consultant. If you don’t have a Consultant, click the “Find a Consultant” link at the top of the page to locate one near you! The best way to shop Scentsy products is by hosting a party. Your Consultant brings fragrance testers, display products and everything else you need. You just invite your friends over to experience Scentsy and have some fun! The best part? As the Host, you can earn Host Rewards — free and half-price products — for the sales placed at your party.

Scentsy has so much more than wax warmers and melts, which are all amazing, btw. There are essential oils and diffusers, Scentsy Go & Pods, a Scentsy Body line, Scentsy Buddies, Scentsy Clean and Scentsy Laundry. These gifts make the BEST hostess gifts, teacher gifts or a just-because for yourself! Check out my website below and see for yourself! Also, you get the option to shop from your couch and to beat the mall crowds. It’s a win-win for me!

TOP MOTHER’S DAY GIFTS

When it comes to our moms, we want to give them our best because we know they always gave their best to us. Unfortunately, time and life can get in the way of getting the best Mother’s Day gift. With that being said, I took the time to pick out the best (and easiest) Mother’s Day Gift Ideas. All of these Mother’s Day gift ideas are sure to warm her heart.

1. START WITH A CUTE BASKET

For the basket, you can’t go wrong with a traditional wicker or straw one. Alternatively, you can use a cute storage basket that she can reuse year-round!

1 // Woven Storage Basket 2 // Seagrass Basket 3 // Woven Rattan Basket with Lid

2. ADD HER FAVORITE FOOD ITEMS AND SNACKS

We all have our favorite food items and surprising her with some of hers would make her day! Does she have a hard-to-find favorite? Make sure to go the extra mile and throw it in her basket. Does she have a favorite drink? If she likes chocolate (who doesn’t?!), make sure to go for the good stuff like a Godiva sampler box.

1 // Variety Snack Box 2 // Godiva Chocolate 3 // Gourmet Cheese Basket (Pair with Wine)

3. ADD SPA & SELF CARE ITEMS

Luxurious spa and/or self-care items are a great way to show mom that she deserves to be cared for and pampered! Now is the time to get her that luxury spa or sampler set that she wouldn’t normally get herself. Safe bets are Jo Malon’s heavenly scented candles, rose scented soap petals, or luxury skincare sample sets from Nordstrom or Sephora. If your mom is like mine, she would also really enjoy a mani and pedi, so do something that they would like.

1 // Young Living Diffuser 2 // Essie Nail Polish 3 // Bath Bomb Set

4. ADD “BEST MOM” ITEMS

Hving a “Best Mom” or “I Love Mom” or anything with the word “Mom” on it is almost mandatory for gift baskets! Here are a few ones!

1 // Peas in a Pod Bracelet 2 // Alex and Ani Mom Bracelet

5. DON’T FORGET THE FLOWERS!

Fresh cut flowers from the garden would be ideal, but find a bouquet at a local florist or put together a faux bouquet. You could also make a wreath for her to hang on her door, so be creative!

BONUS POINTS: JEWELRY

Every mom appreciates jewelry as a token of appreciation, so get to shopping!

When putting together gifts for your mom, think out side of the box. It doesn’t have to be something necessarily extravagant.

What are you planning to gift your mom or that special someone in your life for Mother’s Day? Are you planning to buy something or make your gift? Let’s chat in the comments below!

GIFTS FOR THE HOSTESS

While our holiday parties look a little different this year, that doesn’t mean you should show up empty-handed. For those of you attending a socially distanced gathering or dreadfully attending a festive Zoom session, I have carefully picked out a handful of gifts that are better than booze (almost). Click through for thoughtful kitchen wares, chic home goods and other options that are bound to make your hostess smile.

After the Pinterest guide, you will find the links to each of the products. Most gift ideas are around $24-$35 and under, because I really wanted to keep everything reasonably priced and perfect for any budget.

When I was on the hunt to find these amazing gift options, I went with brands and products that I know and love. If it’s something that I personally don’t have, I was sure to do my research to make that I’m only recommending the best of the best!

1 // Stemless Wine Glasses 2 // Bottle Opener 3 // Kitchen Towel 4 // Cocktail Barware Set 5 // Candle 6 // Marble Serving Tray 7 // Faux Fur Blanket 8 // Wine & Reusable Wine bag 9 // Marble & Wood Coasters 10 // Floral Vase 11 // Teapot with Infuser 12 // Moleskin Journal 13 // Velvet Jewelry Box 14 // Succulent Plant Pots
